Nina Tuxbury is a queer filmmaker in her final year in the Purchase College film conservatory. She grew up in upstate New York with her parents and her younger sister. She is drawn to telling stories about interpersonal relationships in families with a focus on grief, loss, and the LGBTQ+ community. Aside from writing and directing, Nina has found her calling in post-production, with an interest in editing and assistant editing. She is highly organized and technologically astute when it comes to the post-production workflow with various editing programs, as well as having a strong creative eye. When not working on films, Nina may be found reading and making lattes for herself.
